Which company should I get my Graphics card from? MSI, Gigabyte or EVGA

EVGA and MSI are generally the top choices. But if you have a motherboard which supports fan control through the BIOS, getting a GPU from the same manufacturer could allow for automatic and custom GPU fan curves. For example, an ASUS STRIX card connected to an ASUS Maximus or Sabertooth motherboard.

funny how gigabyte most time on cards like look at there gtx 980 ti at newegg only a 46% satisfaction rating ??? if a card got less then 70% its best you move on - I would not buy that with your money - then I got to think why 3 fans to do the same job most all the rest can do with 2 ???

here are the top most reviewed cards from newegg you see evga's is most and best 5 egg rating

I bought an MSI Gaming Series and was so impressed with the quality that I will 100% by MSI for my next gpu and mb. The thing feels so solid and I run it extremely heavy with no issues for about a year now. The comparable EVGA which I returned felt clunky and not as well built..

Your right about the fans, that stuff is overrated sometimes. I have a normal size tower, but b/c of the location of the pin on the mb leading to my power button I couldn't fit a 2 fan card. Got an msi r9-270x mini-itx with just 1 single fan which runs crazy cool. It runs just as cool or cooler than the same 2 fan models.

Really? I wasn't aware. Thanks for the information.

I will never buy an ASUS or Gigabyte card again. i have experience with all types of GPU , and the Quality from MSI is undeniably #1 for me. The Heatsink design to GPU contact is perfect , and the Fan designs are better. the hell with the windforce design. those fans aren't made to last. I had to replace my Windforce fans with MSI fans now , i have never been happier. And i was a big Gigabyte fan BTW. But if someone said EVGA is better , i won't argue it.

MSI afterburner software lets you do this and it's really amazing software. I believe every major card can do this either thru software they have or afterburner / other similar software. you wouldn't want to use automatic settings anyway as they are always horrible.

if I run my gaming x rx 480 at stock curve it can hit around 70-72c during really intense gaming.. If I run custom curve where I tell it to hit 100% fan by 77c it will stay in the 50s or low 60s during full load intense gaming. If my gpu temp is 60c my fan is going to be around 50% at that point and has an even climb up by 70 it would hit 75%
