Hi,
I am just wondering which part of my PC you think is limiting its performance the most for gaming. I'm sure its the gpu, but just in case. Its quite old so its an alright PC.

Amd bulldozer fx6100
8gb 1330mhz ram
And radeon 6870
Asus m5a97 motherboardmotherboard

Thanks for your help.

The FX-6100 was tried in a SBM cycle about a year ago, where it was found to be a real disappointment. It is fairly balanced to your midrange graphics card though, so it will really depend on the types of games you play, and your resolution.
In one of your games, lower the settings. If FPS goes up a decent amount, then a better graphics card would make the most difference. If it goes up very little if at all, then the CPU is the bottleneck. Microcenter had the FX-8320 for $99 three weeks ago, and such a deal could recur. If it is back around $149 now, depending on your budget it may be time to think about rebuilding, most likely using an i5 or i7.
