Which components can I recycle from a gaming laptop to build a gaming PC?

I currently have a damaged ASUS ROG G751JY (motherboard and battery problems) collecting dust. I want to build a high-end gaming PC so can I re-use some parts to save money and which ones? And if not what can I do with the damaged laptop?

Well....the first thing that comes to mind is the drives.

Other than that.....not much.

On a rare occasion you may be able to use the memory....but not usually.
