Which computer is better for film editing?

well, they are both much the same. The HP has a slightly better IGPU, so that might a bit of difference, and also a slightly better CPU. If i had a choice of both, I'd select the HP.

To be honest though, neither of them would be fantastic for editing. A desktop with more powerful CPU/GPU would serve you much better.

what is the BUDGET? There may be a much better laptop for you.

Ideally you want:
4-core Intel (4th gen or newer), and
16GB system memory (may be able to add another 8GB stick, preferably IDENTICAL if it has only 8GB installed)
1920x1080 (or higher) resolution screen

SSD + HDD?
dGPU (i.e. NVidia 1050)
