Which computer should I buy? (Intel or AMD)

Hi!

This is my first time building a computer, first thread on Tom's Hardware, and pretty much first time everything (currently I have an Imac for gaming...).

I created these two builds, at a 500-600 budget (went a little high), and I don't know which one to actually buy and build.
Intel or AMD?

Also, any suggestions for the build that stay in budget are welcome!
Will the CPU bottleneck the Graphics card in either of the builds?
One last thing, I plan on buying this during the holidays sales. Do the holiday sales actually have sales that good?
I'm a new guy to the whole computer hardware community, so excuse my stupidity. Thank you!

Solution
The i3 build is better. No bottlenecking. Avoid the Corsair CX series psus.

Try this.
