Haha thought so. Pity there is like a $1000 price difference between the two. Guess I'll have to fork out more than I really wanted to! :)

Well the first is $1499AUD and the second was $2750AUD (bit more than $1000!).

I wouldn't say I was a hard core gamer or anything like that (if that isn't already obvious) but I do like spending a lot of time playing Skyrim etc and with the thought of Fallout 4 coming out eventually I would love to get a new computer that I could play with high res graphics. On my old computer (that died last night) I could only play with low res graphics which was always a bummer. I use my computer to watch TV and movies on as well. Nothing overly fancy.

Is there another computer you could suggest? I'm not set on getting one of those computers, they were just 2 I was looking at from a local Australia place (specifically Sydney).

Here is what you want to look for:

An i5 CPU ( an i7 performs NO better in games)
8gb RAM (games use 4gb and 16gb is OVERKILL for anything besides video rendering and encoding)
A gtx670,gtx760, gtx770, hd7950, r9 280x GPU. (these will allow you to play at max settings in new games)
