Hi there.
I recently bought an LG monitor
144hz, 5ms, UltraWide FHD (2561x1080).
I want to connect to my laptop but i don't know what kind of cable I can use to reach the full specs (144hz). The monitor has 2 x HDMI , 1 x display port.
My video card is nVidia Gtx 1070 with miniDisplay port, 1x hdmi 1x usb-C
Please help me. Thank you for you answer !

I know, logically it is the same thing. But the ADAPTER(converts DP to miniDP) will not reduce the performance ?
I mean they are internally identical, and are both considered "adapters", it's just a choice of male vs female connector, and the length of cable inbetween the connectors.

Generally adapter dongles are preferred over adapter cables, since you can adjust the length of the attached cable to your needs. There is no effect on the performance of the connection.

So I have to buy a displayport - minidisplayport adapter ( to connect to my latpop) or just buy a dp-minidp cable and will be better ? Will this run the monitor in 144hz?
