I have a wireless network card, and my internet is actually really good, but because I'm using wireless, gaming online is still complete aids. I have heard about something called a wireless bridge, and I'm wondering if creating a wireless bridge, and using an ethernet cable to connect my computer to the new access point would give me a stronger connection than using general wifi.

Solution
Not likely very significant, you might get a little better because you can move the wireless bridge closer to the router but if you put it right next to your PC it would get the same wireless signals as your PC.

Look at powerline networks it likely will be better for games. Wireless problem is it get random errors due to interference which causes random time delays and loss. Games use the delays between packets to help sync with the server so it does not tolerate much variation or loss.
