Hello, I'm about to switch PSU, seeing it as my old one definitely not is good enough. I've researched a bit, and found out that Corsair makes very high quality PSUs, but I'm stuck deciding which one to go for.

----------------------------------------------
This is my system:
ATI 4850 1GB
Intel (R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.50 GHz (4 CPUs)
Win XP 32 Bit
3 GB RAM
2 Harddrives
G15 Gaming Keyboard
Razer Copperhead gaming mouse

-----------------------------------------------

I recently used two power supply calculators, and I was told to use a 500 watt psu on the first one and a 470 psu on the second one.

So yeah, which corsair psu would fit my system best; bear in mind that my budget is not huge but it HAS to work :)

Thanks loads in advance, I REALLY appreciate it.

PS. If I need to add any info, tell me!

I find both of those high. More realistic will be around 350w tops. Which calcs did you use? For a single 4850, the corsair 450 would be fine. If you want to crossfire another later, then you'd need 550w. I have a 4850 and a 550vx PSU. It is certified (from the AMD website) for crossfire.

What is you're budget?

I have no current or future plans of upgrading my system. My budget is on about 70 euro, but I'd prefer to get the cheapest method (as long as it its 110% working, for example playing Oblivion on Ultra high like I used to)
