hey, I am about to buy a Cooler Master Hyper 212x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16835103205
but I need your suggestions.

This is my current Setup

Cpu: Core i7 3770 (non K)

Mobo: GIGABYTE Socket 1155 - GA-B75M-D3H (rev. 1.1)

Ram : transenced 8x2 ddr3 (1600bus)

PSU : Cooler Master GX 550W

GPU : Nvidia Geforce Gt 220

Chassis : Thermaltake-Dokker-VM600M1W2Z

my ambient temp is 25-26 degree

I am a student learning 3d modelling and rendering. I am using 3dcoat, keyshot and Photoshop for most of my works. The thing about Keyshot is it's a CPU based rendering Software which uses all the available cores and when i am using it my cpu temperature tends to rise almost 95-degree plus with a stock cooler and CPU workload shows 100% in coretemp. Thats why I have to shut down the programme after 2 mins.(when temp crosses 80 degree, 40 degree at Idle)
So my question is Cm hyper 212x capable of keeping the temp in mid 70 taking 100% cpu workload for 1-2 hrs continously. Or what other choices do i have with in this price range (30-35$)

Thanks in advance

What is your idle temperature?
If your stock cooler is mounted well, it should be 10-15c. over ambient.
If you are hotter, you need to remount your cooler properly; it can be tricky.

Do you do better if you take your case covers off?
If so, perhaps case cooling is the issue.

Hyper212 is a common suggestion.
Cryorig H7 is also recommended.

Thanks for your reply. My idle temp is 40 degree. But the thing is, I must buy a CPU cooler to work with Keyshot as I have already stated in my post. My Ques is Could Cm hyper 212x be able to keep my Cpu temp in the mid 70 under 100% workload for 1-2 hr continuously?
If not what CPU cooler should I buy within a 30-35$ price range?
