Hello this is my new build and i'm planning to o/c for the first time. I want to hit 3.5-3.8 ghz on core i5 750 (maybe more if it is stable ? i have no idea about it, we'll see ^^) What is the best cpu cooler atm ? A friend of mine told me that NOCTUA NH-U12P SE1366 Core i7 Lga1366 Cpu Cooler would be a great choice. Do you think it is that good ? If not, what do you prefer ?

Thanks in advance.

I have the NOCTUA NH-U12P SE2 (replaces the NOCTUA NH-U12P SE1366) and I am pleased. At 4.0Ghz, full Prime95 load, 68*F ambient I run cores at 72c.

There are "better" heatsinks rated by performance. I highly value that the Noctua is quiet (I can barely hear its two fans on full), its high quality and I can get it at NewEgg or Amazon.

You can read reviews at FrostyTech
