Question Which CPU for 2160p and VR?

hello my gpu is a 4070ti, i play games in 2160p and in VR, do you suggest me to buy a ryzen 7600 or a 9600x? i plan to change the cpu with a x3d when the prices will go down, or maybe with next cpu gen on am5 (10xxx), what you suggest me? the difference of price is about 60euros

You should look at the Ryzen 7 9800X3D or the predecessor, 7800X3D if you're looking at a gaming only build, provided you have an AM4 platform.. You will need to up the GPU though as it's the RTX4070Ti is good 2K GPU.

Where are you located and what sort of a budget have you allocated for your processor purchase? What sort games do you play? What refresh rate? Make and model of your monitor?

4070ti is more than enough for gaming and vr.
