Which CPU is better for gaming, screencapture, and skype all together (i5 4670k vs. i7 4790k)?

I am wondering what CPU would best suit my needs:
-Gaming (top priority)
-Screen capture/recording (OBS)
-Skype
-And this is just extra, but music

-Also trying to save money for other parts (Ex. GTX 970)
(Budget around $1000 give/take)
NOTE: I won't be doing any video editing on it.

*Sorry in advance if I am making this too complicated :/

The i5 is about $100 less than i7, and if they are about the same, and I won't be doing any video editing, then the i5 would probably be a solid choice. Do you agree? Thanks also for answering quickly, I appreciate it

I threw that SSD in there for the OS. The I5 mentioned in the post is actually more expensive than the faster one. I put the faster one in this build, as well as a gtx 970.
Since the processor is "K" You can overclock with it, hence the overclocking motherboard.

I5 is still a solid choice for gaming, most games the same performance and usually with in 5% in others with the same GPU. Here example http://www.techspot.com/review/1006-the-witcher-3-benchmarks/page5.html not even 3% difference.

Thanks a lot! That helped quite a bit. Especially because I am most likely not going to be playing games like Witcher 3 or Watch Dogs, etc. Probably going to be playing BeamNG Drive and other games of that sort.
