Which cpu is better?

Im sure these questions are all over this forum but,
Which cpu is better?

My questions:
Is the extra $30 bucks worth it?
I belive you can oc the 4690k?
Which one is better for gaming?

Yes you can OC the K-model, but do you want to overclock your pc?

the 4690k is better, but if you dont want to overclock, i would not say that the 30 bucks are worth it

The 4690k, you can overclock it up to apparently 4.6ghz, but I wouldn't go near that speed. But a good 4.0 from the base 3.5 is better then nothing. The extra $30 is definitely worth it though. Here is a good link to look at. http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4690K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4590

it's better to NOT overclock. just get the cheaper cpu. there will be ZERO difference in games between them.
