[SOLVED] WHICH CPU IS BETTER !?!?

Currently I have a FX 8350 stock with a GTX 970 4gb and 16gb of ram, but I want to change my CPU would a Intel i5 3570 be a upgrade from my current cpu ? This is for my gaming pc so I want to know if am either upgrading or downgrading from what I already have.

Well, it is an improvement, but not a massive one. And there are lots of better CPUs to get, especially because to change to the 3570, you'll need a new motherboard anyway, so if you're going to pay for that, you may as well pay to move to newer generations and upgrade your RAM too IMO.

Apparently gaming performance of the 8350 is better than the i5, according to benchmarks. Therefore, it is a sidestep and not an upgrade.
