Hi,

I'm building a budget gaming setup with a Silverstone SG13 case and a MSI GTX 1660 TI Ventus XS 6G OC, the other components depend on the CPU :)

So I was about to purchase a Ryzen 5 ($118), but now I have the option to purchase a i5 9500f for $88, a i5 9600k for $118 or a i5 9700fk for $130. Based on that info, what you guys recommend me to buy?

Thanks!

It depends which Ryzen 5 model. Ryzen 5 tend to have better performance gaming wise making it good choice for multipurpose entry level PC build.
I believe you meant i5-9600k. The other model is i7-9700k.

Here the ryzen cpu's are a much better value.Yes the 9700k are faster in gaming but it's double the price of a ryzen 5 3600.Only cpu that's remotely a good value are the 9400f which are 3k and the ryzen 5 2600 which are 2.6k.
