Which CPU should I buy?

Hello I am looking to purchase a new CPU, I currently have a AMD DX(tm) -4350 Quad-Core Processor, which my friends tell me is terrible but it has served me well over the year but I think it's time to upgrade.

I have a limit of £250-300 a little over wont matter to much though.

I currently have a Asus Gtx 960, 16 Gigs of Ram, A Zalman Z3 plus Case and A 500 W Atx 12v 500 UB power supply. I do not know if there is anything else you need to recommend a CPU but if there is be sure to ask!

If you could specify a particular CPU I would be grateful as I don't really want to make a mistake on this matter.

You should move to Intel , FX CPU's aren't worth investing in.

Keep saving your money. You will need more cash to invest in a new motherboard, cpu, and ram. Otherwise, its a waste.

Go for ryzen. Youll get more for less. With that budget You can buy a R5 series. 6core doesnt sound bad. And performance are good. Wait just a bit. And from another OLD AMD user to another. Yes, our cpu's are horrible. Im actually carting a ryzen 1700x with whatever else I need. Good luck my friend.
