[SOLVED] Which CPU should I buy?

I can spend up to ~400$
Can you recommend the best gaming cpus for that price tag? I mostly play gta online and I prefer AMD cpus but intel wouldn't bother me.

Honestly you shouldn't need more than an R7 3700X to play GTA V Online. If you want to stay on the same AM4 socket, buy an R9 3900X. I don't think the extra $40 will be an issue if you don't have to upgrade your motherboard (but check the CPU support list for your motherboard, I'm just assuming it will).

If it's for a new build, I'm partial to the R7 3800X.
