So I've built the following PC but the CPU broke down literally the first day, the store doesn't have the same CPU so they gave me two options to pick from, which one would be a better pick?

The PC:

AMD RYZEN 7 5700X 4.6ghz AM4 8 (BROKEN NOW)
Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black 55 CFM CPU Cooler
Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero ATX AM4 Motherboard
MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB GDRR6
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory
SeaSonic FOCUS GX 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

The CPU's to pick from:

Ryzen 7 5700G (3.8GHz Turbo) AM4 8 Core
Ryzen 5 5600X (4.6GHz Turbo) AM4 6 Core

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Ryzen 5 5600X (4.6GHz Turbo) AM4 6 Core

I'm confused, if you had the 5600X to begin with, which is now dead, how is the other 5600X option not the same? Perhaps you meant another processor?

Regardless, I'd still get the 5600X, not the APU.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yeah my bad, this is the CPU that broke down, I'll edit the post

RYZEN 7 5700X 4.6ghz AM4 8

Can you provide any more details on "the CPU broke down"?

The single core performance benchmark is about 3 percent higher on the 5600g.

The 5600g also has about a 12 percent all core advantage because of its 8 cores compared to 6 on the 5600x

Additionally, I think the 5600g has integrated graphics and the 5600x may not?

The 5600x may have some advantages unknown to me.

Thank you for your answer, they just told me that they tested it and it came bad from the factory

You built this PC, correct? It's not a pre-built.

Who is "they"?

The store from which you bought the parts?

AMD?
I didn't build it but I picked the parts individually and the store built it for me, the store also told me that they sent the cpu back to their provider and from there they told them that it was a manufacturer issue, I sent it back cause it turned off and never turned back on again, after a while the store called me and said that the cpu was dead.
