Hi im looking at getting a i5 10600kf for my gamming setup what Ryzen would you recommend that could compete with it i have a $600 budget.

Depends on what you're aiming for, and how much you're willing to spend.
10600K or higher
Z490 motherboard
Top tier cooler to overclock with
Dual channel 3200mhz or higher
2080 Super/2080Ti performance tier
Playing on 1080p or lower
Etc, etc.
^best gaming performance, money is no object - you go Intel.

3600X or higher
B450, B550, or X570 motherboard
Dual channel 3600mhz, CL16/17 memory
2070 Super maybe? Anything that's a better value than the top 2.
Etc, etc.
Better all around machine, more value conscious - go AMD.

-Intel's cpus lose their speed advantage over Ryzen 3000 above 1080p.
-Don't try to combine Intel with value, or the following will happen: spending more overall, while the 'other guy' on a Ryzen 3000 setup matches you in performance, or at least is right on your tail.
