[SOLVED] Which CPU to choose?

Can anybody quickly tell me what cpu I should buy

1. Ryzen 5 2400g

2. Ryzen 5 1600

I’m getting both of them for the same price so which one is the best

I’m only gonna game and game
Also once I buy one of these I will use it at least for few years so don’t make me buy this cpu for just a year or two

I will be buying 1060 in March so I have to wait till then

So let me know which one is the best

Ryzen 5 1600 is the better one out of both of them, seems like a good card to be honest. Never used it personally, im an Intel kind of guy myself.

Well the 1600 is a better cpu but you will need a gpu to go with it-it does not have integrated graphics. The 2400g is an APU so you're good to go with it right out of the box.

I would note that while I agree the Ryzen 5 1600 is the better option, it does not have on-board graphics like the 2400G does. Unless you have another graphics card, you won't be able to use this system until you get your GTX 1060 in March.

Cause I’m dying in this doubt that should I go for a 2400g or 1600...I’m spending a lot of money on this ...so the least satisfaction I want is that I have a PC that’s gonna last for atlest 4-5 years I’m literally shelling out like my kidneys so I wanna be as sure as I can be hence I keep asking for other people’s point of view

2400g=4 cores 8 threads
1600=6 cores 12 threads
Generally speaking 4 cores/8 threads is great for gaming but the 1600 is superior and more futureproof especially if games continue the trend of making better use of more cores/threads.
