Which CPU to go along with mobile GTX 680M?

Hey, gents.

Getting a lappy. Strictly gaming/school. No video editing.

That said, go with the i7 3740 6MB cache or splurge and get the i7 3840 8MB cache. For 2MB more cache it is almost $200 more. Worth it?

I've been led to believe the i7 3740 6MB cache will be plenty fine...true?

Either of those two will not bottleneck the 680M, get the cheaper one, you'll not notice any gain in performance.

Really, any i5 will do. The vast majority of games do not use more than 2 cores.
