Which CPU will work better with this GPU?

First and foremost, im going to be playing some cpu intensive games, like World of Warcraft (mainly) and mabey some battlefields, cods, watchdogs, borderlands pre sequel, far cry 4, any modern title goes into this. Im wonder if the i3-4150 or the fx 6300 will be the better option pared up with the r9 270x to play these modern titles. Ive posted other times about this and im really just pulling my hair becouse idk which one to get. The main game is going to be wow, prob 50% of what i play daily, mixed in with those other games.
Ps. I will be upgrading in a year or two my cpu and mabey my gpu aswell, we will see.

i3, defeats FX 6 on stock speeds, even when OCed, FX 6 rarely defeats i3 by a considerable margin. AM3+ platform is almost dead, LGA1150 gives you much more upgradiblity, like to i5 or Xeon or i7, which pretty much defeats any FX in gaming. I'd bet on an i3, cooler, stronger, requires a relatively cheaper setup (no need for af cooler, cheap MoBo). Raw gaming performance wise, FX 6 and i3 yield you similar results, with a margin of 2-5 FPS.

Thanks for they reply, definitely going with the i3. However, having an i3 with a mobo that supports it (not too bright on mobos) i can just simply get an i5 and pop it in the same mobo or do i have to get a new one.

Any MoBo you get which supports i3 also supports i5/ i7/ Xeon, unless you get a really really cheap one which you won't get, so feel free to get i3 and you can upgrade to i5 w/o issues. But yes, if you want to OC, you'd need a Z MoBo, otherwise, a B/H MoBo would do
