Hello,

which procesor with mobo to choose?

used (one year old) - i7 8700 with h370 mobo and 2666 rams ?

or for same price

new - Ryzen 5 2600 with Crosshair x370 and 3200 rams?

rest of components which i already have are:RTX 2080, QHD 144Hz monitor and 750 PSU and HDDs. I donw want to wait for the new Ryzens. In case of chosing Ryzen i will upgrade to new ones.

I wouldn't really recommend buying a used motherboard and CPU.. unless if that person who is selling it has a good long warranty for it in case it breaks.
the 8700 is way faster than the ryzen in gaming, and if you could you should get a 3000mhz rams instead of 2666.

There is still another two years of warranty on i7 8700. I cant decide. There are too much rumors about new Ryzens and i am not sold on 5GHz thing and better single core than Intel. It looks like hypertrain crap.

If i will consider cpu for 1080p Intel will be nobrainer, but on QHD is there really that big difference between them?

I don't think the 2600 is a competitor for the i7 and I am pretty sure the i7 will do the job better in gaming even at QHD. Now you may also consider the pricing of the Ryzen that is new. There is also the new generation just around the corner so if you feel the need of more power you can always upgrade.

If you get the non X version of that R5, make sure you are going to overclock it to at least 4 Ghz.
I moved from Intel i5 7600 to R5 2600 recently and I don't regret it at all. I am also planning to get the 3rd gen if it's going to be clearly better.

EDIT: After watching some benchmarks. you can get up to 20 FPS more in most titles with the i7 on 1440p. I assume it's going to make a difference in 1440p @144hz.
