Which DDR4 kit has lowest timings at 2133?

I could really use advice about which 32GB DDR4 kit to choose.

At 2133mhz, I want to run it at the lowest possible timings without having to increase voltage very much.

Motherboard is Asus Z170 Deluxe. I prefer 4 x 8GB, but 2 x 16GB is fine.

Can any kits do better than 10-10-10-20 (at 2133mhz)?

Thanks for your help!

Yes you will have to get (preferably) 1.2v ram and try to find stable timings while increasing the voltage.

Personally I would do this with the mushkin since it's not very far from 12 to 10 and I have lots of voltage to play with.

But there's no reason you can't do this with higher frequency ram (apart from the cost).

lower timings perform faster. for e.g. RAM at 1333 Mhz with timings (CL) of 6 are identical to 2666Mhz at CL 12.

In this case 2133 @ CL 10 would be faster that your run of the mill 3000 @ CL 16.

I know that much but what is the specific need for the timings? If you are gaming it will not effect performance at all. If you are rendering anything over/faster 2800 CL15 will not have much effect still.

In gaming, depending on the game, yes it can and will affect performance......and Pssst, there's more to do with a computer than just gaming, actually gaming wasn't even mentioned in this thread ;)

Nothing mentioned about a gaming rig here, or DRAM being any kind of factor in anything, just wanting basic 2133 at the lowest possible timings. Lower timings will perform faster at a given bandwidth, but then again a higher timing on a wider bandwidth will outperform the lower data rate with tighter timings, i.e. 1600/7 easily is outperformed by 2133/9
