[SOLVED] Which Dell Optiplex case can accept a regular size gpu ?

i see good deal on optiplex pc

some are ssf Mt (minitower) usff utra ssmall factory form.

Some are SFF, MT or Ultra SFF form factor.

regular gpu are large. do they fit in one of these desktops ?
 
Solution
You will want to find the MT models. Not DT, not SFF.

In a very FEW models of the DT you can put half height card, but is hard to make that determination unless you can see it, or a really good pic. Often the PCI slot is right against the power supply.

The other aspect to consider is the PSU likely will not be powerful enough for much by way of GPU. In some cases the connectors from the PSU need adapters to work correctly with the Dell stuff.

And lastly, many Dell motherboard are BIOS locked to a specific list of GPU that will operate. This is particularly the case with the XPS and other gaming lines.
