i5-7600 or Ryzen 5 1600/1700 are pretty comparable. i5-6600k, the CPU I use, is a little more powerful and a great price. There are much more powerful CPU's though for low prices. I wouldn't recommend looking for a CPU of the same processing power.
There isn't an equivalent or anything really close. There are no desktop 6c/12t cpus at 35/45w, nor are there any at 2.2GHz base or 4.1GHz full performance. The only cpus in the same family (CoffeeLake) with 6c/12t are the i7 8700 and i7 8700k, but they double the power demands easily and have far higher stock/turbo clocks.
Even Ryzen R5 1600/X or 2600/X are vastly different, even if having the same 6c/12t
