Which device to what SATA port?

Hi everyone, I just got my P8Z77-V Deluxe board and Ive just about finished putting the whole thing together so I would like some advice on to which SATA port should I hook up my various drives to since Ive read various opinions to use the Intel SATA 3 port for the SSD and the Marvel for SATA 2 and on other the whole way around. Here is what I have:

I have a brand spanking new Crucial M4 64 Gb SATA 3 that I intend to use as a system drive for its fast boot speeds and what not, maybe Ill install Office.

3 WD Caviar 500 GB SATA 2 that are my data disk

1 NEC IDE DVD/RW with a IDE-SATA adapter (these converters rarely work like they are supposed to, but will disconnect and remove if proving to be too much of a nuisance)

Where should I connect each of the devices taking into account that this is mostly a gaming rig?

P.D.. OS will be Win 7 x64, no dual boot nothing.

You're overthinking this.

Plug your SATA III devices into SATA III ports. If you don't have enough SATA III ports, plug use them for the drives you'll use most often. Boot drives and things like that.

Connect your M4 to one of the two Intel 6Gb/s ports, not one of the Marvell 6Gb/s ports.

Connect your 3 HDD to the Intel 3Gb/s ports.
Connect your DVD/RW to the remaining Intel 3Gb/s port.

Not overthinking, I just want to do things right and make the most out of my actual hardware, Ive read scary stories about the Marvel SATA controller and since the Intel ones are limited
