Which discs for an LG N2B1D?

I've got an ageing LG NAS, with just 1TB of storage. Its used for streaming BluRay mkvs to my Panasonic TV, which it does very nicely. However, its a bit small for the task, and the disks are now nearly worn out and showing impending failure. I don't think it can accept discs great than 2TB because LG has rather abandoned the NAS market and isn't producing any updates, but does anyone know if it would run with a pair of 2TB WD Reds or 1TB Reds, or should I just start over?

Do you need a NAS drive to 'stream' movies to your TV ? Most modern TV's will just play movies from any external drive. Verbatim has a very nice tiny 2TB pocket 'portable' drive (doesn't need an adaptor) which you should be able to just plug into your TV and "go" :)

NAS seemed like a good answer, as it also looks after the music, and back up the PC. Have now replaced the NAS with a 415Play, but was just trying to get some more use out of the old NAS, there is nowt wrong with it apart from the fact that a) the discs have worn out and b)LG has stopped releasing new firmware. Really like you idea though, and thanks for answering!
