Question which displays to buy

hi there

thank you for your reply much appreciate it.have you used that monitor before?Ive been playing rainbow 6 seige on my current monitor and the pixels are weird like snowy i dont think its meant for gaming.its the dell se2717h.

its defiantly a solid setup.i just built mine and i feel like i made a mistake.if you watch setup wars and randomfrankp room tour projects nobody has ryzen cpu, mostly i7's and the gtx 1080 or 2080 ive only seen a ryzen 7 2700 once out of all his episodes.would you ever consider going over to intel?

I don't watch those but prior to my Ryzen build I had Intel (4770K) & prior to that I was using the AMD X4 965. I'm no fanboy, just pick whatever gives me the best price to performance. Those i7's can be good for 1080P144hz+ gaming but for higher resolutions the difference between, for example a Ryzen 2600 & 8700K becomes minimal so on higher resolutions it's usually much wiser to dump a bit more into your GPU then CPU.

i totally agree with you 100% on that one,i mean gaming on 4k and 144hz theres only so much a human eye can distinguish.the ryzen 5 performs so well its great, its a perfect build that you dont need to go big maybe another gpu down the line as technology grows, but your build is awesome.how come you only went with an ssd?do you have an external harddrive aswell?

For the most part 500gb is pretty sufficient for me as my internet is pretty quick so deleting & downloading games isn't a issue but at the time I didn't really have the extra money for a HDD so I spent a little bit more and good a 500gb SSD. Eventually I want to get a 250gb+ NVMe SSD for the OS & maybe a game or two with long loading screens, keep the 500gb SSD for my fairly often played games and then probably a 3TB for extra storage or heavily modded games like Skyrim that can exceed 500gb total. No external HDD.

that makes alot of sense.i also put on extra cash for the ssd.i just took my external harddrive out the case and put it into my nzxt case with the sata cable.an ssd is a better option without a doubt.

what are your display setting?i just got my display and the picture isnt clear.its like to contrasty
