Which do I upgrade for streams

I play fortnite at all low settings and get 80fps while I’m in tilted towers/ big towns and around 150-200 in plain floors. I have an i5 4460 and gtx 950 2gb SC. What do I upgrade? 300 USD budget

The CPU is best upgraded for streams. With your budget I'd go for a Core i7 4790.

Hey, so recently my computer has not been hitting the numbers I'd like. In Fortnite, on majority low settings I get around 80fps in big towns and popular spots whilst 180 in out of range combat. I'd like to get an 144hz monitor but I would like to run at 144hz majority of the time. I have 300 USD and I don't know if I should purchase a new CPU or Gpu.

CPU cores matter for streaming. It is tough to stream on an i5. The extra threads of an i7 will help a lot. I agree with above and would go with an i7 4790. I would look for a used one on ebay. Should be able to drop it in your current motherboard.

If you better fps and increased graphic settings, then you should look at the GPU. GPU prices are really high right now, the best you could afford would be the 1060 3gb. But I would suggest going over your budget to $350 and go for the 1060 6gb as it will be a really nice bump from your 960.
