Question Which driver should i install?

I have a dell inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop which has a Nvidia Geforce 1050 TI. However, when I went on to the nvidia driver website there was a driver for a geforce 1050 ti as well as one for a 1050 ti(notebook version) and I don't know which one I should be downloading.

You should be looking at the 1050Ti drivers, the (notebook) drivers are for the 1050m, if your laptop does not specify you have a mobile GPU, then you should use the main drivers.

Alternatively, you can do a detect hardware install instead.

The one from Dell. It will be specific to your device. Often, the Nvidia supplied drivers do not work with notebook graphics or they don't work without some kind of issues. The Dell drivers will support THEIR particular implementation of that graphics adapter including any custom configuration implementations they may have made. Make sure the driver is for the specific model however, including the correct adapter model.
