I am using the newest beta drivers for my r9 280x. I think you should too.

Try other games. If no problems, then it's just BF4.

What are your specs...? Coz you can get 56 Fps with my r9 280x on maxed out everything. Yet I play it on very high with no aa with V-sync and I get constant 60 Fps on bf4. And yes I am using 13.11 beta v2.

Well then that lags are quite unusuall. Try installing the game again, or maybe a hardware problem. Make sure everything is tight in it's place inculing connectors, gpu, ram, etc.... Also check if you get lags on other demanding games.

i just install the 10.9 driver. i will wait for amd to come out with the new official one. any idea when will it be release?
