Hi, recently I purchased new PC parts and would just like some clarification on a few questions.

Specs: Windows 8.1 64bit, Intel i7-4790k, Asus z97 maximus hero vii, nvidia geforce gtx 970

So for my graphics card I know how to download the drivers for that but what I am confused about is my motherboard. When I go to drivers it pops up with 75 different drivers which is a little intimidating. So I know I need the chip set, audio, lan, USB, and sata but here are my questions.

How do I know which drivers to download for each category. For example; when I click on Sat a it comes up with 6 other drivers. Do I just install the first and most recent one or do I install them all?

My other question is that there is no USB drivers tab. If I go to windows 7 there is a tab that says USB and allows drivers to download but when I go to windows 8.1 there is no drivers tab. Is that because they are all up to date or is it somewhere else. Thank you.

Solution
MAXIMUS VII HERO BIOS 2601
1. Implement 5th-Generation Intel Core Processors code
*Full support of the new CPU requires necessary driver updates.
2. Support ASUS USB 3.1 PCIE add-on card
3. Support NVMe
this is the newest bios update for the mb. download it unzip it and use the bios updater inside the mb or use the usb flashback port. if you use the usb flashback port you have to use the bios renamer to rename the bios file.

3 party sata chipset drivers.
intel sata drivers are part of the intel chipset drivers unless you want to turn on intel raid/intel rapid start chipset. then you download the other drivers in the sata download folder newest by date.
