Which ethernet cable is best?

I'm building a gaming PC and was wondering which Ethernet cable would best suit the MoBo, thanks.

I honestly do not think it matters as long as it's cat 5 (or cat 6 if you want to research it.)

Well from what I've read, cat5e can run gigabit speeds, but cat 6 is certified. Other than that, there isn't much of a difference right now. They are both extremely cheap anyway so might as well grab the best cat5e you can find.

Well if you are buying a new cable, they are pretty much same price (£1-2 difference) so makes sense to get the latest cat 6 standard

Only if you are buying a new cable. If you have a cat5e already don't bother.

any CAT5e or CAT6 cable will work fine, both are rate to support 1000Mb/s.

the cable will not make any difference in gaming speed
