Question Which external cameras are Windows Hello compatible?

I have a Microsoft Modern Camera attached to my laptop and it works fine with Zoom, Teams, etc. but Windows hello refuses to use it. I even disabled the laptops internal camera but Windows hello still uses it...even with the lid closed. Ugh.
