which external HDD to buy

I want to buy an external HDD mainly for backup purpose and I am totally confused which is a good HDD to buy. all the reviews online that I have viewed are 4-5 years old so I can't trust them. I am mainly looking forward to buy either WD my passport ultra 2tb or Seagate backup plus 2tb. Please suggest which is among the two or I should buy any other drive other than these two.

WD and Seagate are good. You can choise what is most cheap in those 2 options. Just not recomend the Toshiba HDD cause I have several units in my company and they used to be fail after sometime of use. Some times they fail when used like 1 month or less.

Actually I know both WD and Seagate are good. And to add to that they both are aqvailaible at the same price, that's why I am not able to choose.
