Which files are necessary in the C:?

I have many weird looking files in my C: which I am sure are not needed there. Can anyone explain to me which ones look necessary and which ones I should delete/move?

If your c root is that messy, might as well just reformat because I bet that the c root is the least of your problems.

Any actual files in the c root directory can be deleted , they look like GPU drivers or similar & virtual cvinstall files.
You can delete all those.

You've obviously upgraded windows at some point ??
That windows.old folder can be removed (not by deleting) but by using disk cleanup - it will be taking a ton of space up .

Actually, you can attempt to delete them all. Ones used by system or system files you will not be able to delete because system would not let you. If you still find some needed, you can retrieve them from Recycle bin.

Strange, i went to delete windows.old off PC after getting new one two weeks ago in Anniversary edition and its gone already. Maybe they shortened its life span.

its funny my nvidia folder is 5 months older than my windows folder now. Guess if i run disk cleanup it may delete my windows10Update folder but i have 186gb free on C so can live with it.
