Hello!
would like to ask for your advice
ATX, AMD, AM5, PCIe5 are required
SimRacing - future ATX 5090, VR 4k
today - 5090 is not available, but the MB should be good to go in near future
AMD 7/9 3D
650E? 670E? 870E? which board is actually the piece to choose?
THX

This sounds more like a whole build sort of question. I suggest you look here and follow the template provided to better define your needs.

Want to find and buy it now. max. 500€
AMD 7gen should be the choice for gamers I read
which CPU is open right now, do not know which one to choose. (max 400€)
32GB Ram, more is not needed for Assetto Corsa EVO I read
M.2 (PCI, NvMe or SATA) also not yet clear

the target is that the MB is good to upgrade to ATX5090 und 4k on VR is running smooth.
Actually I have a Pico 3 Link VR
5,5 Zoll LCD-Display
4K-Niveau (3664 x 1920) PPI:773
72Hz/90Hz/120Hz

that means, which MB, CPU, Ram, SSD... only PCIe5 and thats it. ?
what does VRM mean?

I could have a

ASUS TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS

for a good price (used), should I go on it?

AMD Ryzen 7 7600X3D
Alpenföhn Brocken 4 CPU cooler

ADATA XPG LANCER Black Edition DIMM Kit 32GB, DDR5-6000, CL30-40-40, on-die ECC

M.2 SSD 1TB
simple Monitor because I will use the Pico 3 VR
ATX housing, I do not need and want RGB lights or led.. 😉
ATX 1000W power supply
maybe the

ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER

PCI-E gen5 doesn't really matter right now. A gen 4 SSD will still work, and is plenty fast enough. Gen 5 on the 5090 is just a marketing gimmick. VRM's are the voltage regulation for the motherboard. A weak solution will overheat, and reduce CPU clocks to avoid burning up. I am not a fan of Asus, but that board should be fine.
