Which gaming headset? Wireless or 7.1 Surround worth it?

I'm not sure which gaming headset I'd like to get...

I'd love to have wireless because I hate wires and would like to wear it around the house while listening to music or chatting with squad-mates in games

I'd also love to have 7.1 surround sound but I'm not sure if that's worth the sacrifice for style, convenience, and price in the wireless field between the 2 either.

Here are the wired headsets I've chose as my new headsets:

Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Wrath Wireless USB Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826158155

SKULLCANDY SLYR 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Headset - Black/Yellow: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826631219

Here are the wireless headsets I've chose for my potential new headset:
SKULLCANDY PLYR 2 Circumaural Wireless Headset - Black/Yellow: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826631223

Logitech G930 USB Connector Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104399

Out of all of those, and my recomendation would be the G930, I have the G35 which is exactly the same but wired. I Highly recommend either version, they are very good headsets with great sound, the 7.1 is completely worth it, and when in situations with bass (Music or games) the bass is very good, its not artificial. The included software is also a great plus.

Thanks I think I'll go with the G930... Once I get it I'll let you know how I made out

I know I have been using the G930 since the week after it came out (purchase date: 8/27/2010) on the market and i love it, sound quality is amazing and the 7.1 surround sound will surprise you. One thing I have noticed is the battery starts to get a memory after a while but it is rather easily and expensiveness to replace. I have been hoping for Logitech to come out with something better since mine has about seen its final days after 3 years of daily use, i have been rather ruff on them also they have traveled all across the US with my laptop and I at least 5 times. I know i will have no issue buying another pair when its time if nothing better has came out by then, i really love them. I hope you enjoy them also!

I would have bought the G930 already but it will not work with my two PS3`s (Or Tv Hi-Fi).
The (Tactic Omega?) Omega`s look great, but when I did a Creative Headset find process (or your personal requirements in selection) on a sales site of such products, it guided me to the Creative Evo ZxR (Not the Zx) and that headset has not even been released yet.

One has to wonder why this market (Good Quality WIRELESS/PC/PS3(X-Box)/Hi-Fi/EASY to move to each bit of kit) has not been plugged already by some manufacturer.

Most of us have access to a few hundred to throw towards buying a great all-round product. But is the Evo ZxR the solution? Details are sparse.
