Add a bit more to your budget and get a GTX 1050. If you cant spend any more than 100 dollars, then maybe go with a GTX 1030.

Honestly with that setup I wouldn't buy anything less than a gtx 1050ti save a bit longer

If it has to be under 100, cheapest I'd go is gtx 1050ti. Maybe you can pick one up cheap. But you may want to save more to get at least an RX 570/580. With all the new gpus landing, the 1050ti may show age pretty quickly.

There'd be no point in getting a 1030, as the 2400g already performs at that level.

1050 or 1050, I'd go with the cheapest working card you can get your hands on. But I would really recommend to try to get at least an rx 570 instead.

Exactly. Op, speaking from experience here. From what I've seen the RX 480 and RX 570 are nearly even in performance.

I used to own an RX 480, and sold it during cryptocurrency mining to make some money. For a temporary replacement, I purchased a 1050 ti. Trust me when I say, the 1050 TI is an ENORMOUS step back from the RX 480. If the RX 570 can run close to equal with an RX 480, you should not even consider the 1050 ti. There is no contest. Similar price, but completely different class of card performance wise.
