Which GPU for ultra maxed

Hi. I have thr 4790k and was wondering would the GTX 770, 780 or even R9 290 be able to max out games on ultra with everything maxed? I want to save as much as I can, and I will be gaming on 1920x 1080p because I'm connected to lcd tv through hdmi

Ultra textures will only work on the 780 (barely) and r9 290
Antialiasing needs a lot of horsepower and for ultra + 8xAA none of these cards will work above 30 fps at all times
nvidia cards tend to work better all around if want good performance all across the board not just latest demanding games

I'd go 780 tbh but the 290 is a great choice as well

Hmm very interesting, what's the point of ultra textures if hardly anyone can get them then?

You need 2 graphics cards to max out littery everything, getting let's say 2x GTX 780 will allow you to max out everything in every game.

Also, as an owner of a GTX 780 i can max out textures for most of the games but i can't have AA or my FPS will drop below 60(ofc there are exceptions, for example for BF4 everything is maxed out including AA and runs at 60 FPS with small drops to 55 from time to time).
