Which GPU from these 2?

The i3 2120 system is better. Better CPU, more RAM and bigger hard drive. I would say it's worth the extra £20.

The model of the card doesn't matter. XFX or ASUS, it doesn't matter. Both will still...

It's rather obvious to me which will give more performance. But which is better? It depends what you want.

If you want performance and the ability to tare through any game you throw at it, the GTX 770 is what you'd want, warranting you have a powerful enough PSU and good a enough system to be able to take advantage.

If you are a casual gamer and don't have much cash to waste on high performance parts, the HD 7770 should be OK. There is a big gap in performance between them both, but also a big gap in price.

Frankly, a GTX 770 doesn't even apply in this situation and I'm unsure why you are mentioning a $400 graphics card when the OP is asking about $100 dollar cards.

Between the two of those cards, since essentially they both have the same "Cape Verde" graphics chip on them, I would pick the card with either the higher memory, or the card with the lower price. Decide which matters most to you, as you can easily overclock the 2 GB card yourself to the speed of the factory overclocked card. It isn't as though XFX is receiving special shipment of chips that have been speed binned for them, and likely, they are only upping the clock by a conservative amount.

Both cards come as part of second hand pcs for sale.

The XFX is in a build with :

Intel i3 2120
8Gb RAM
750 GB HDD
Mobo GA H61M SP2V

The Asus is in a build with:

Intel Pentium Dual core 2.50 ghz
4gb RAM
320GB HDD
Mobo MSI ??

The XFX pc is for sale for slightly more (£20). Given the specs to me the XFX looks better value. If the GPUs are fairly equal this would back this up?

I haven't been given the exact mobo details for the Asus. Plus the CPU for the asus pc looks to me quite old?

Would you go for the XFX model based on this?
