Which GPU is better option for an upgrade?
ASUS GTX1660 TUF OC 6GB, ASUS GTX1660-TI DUAL 6GB or ASUS RTX2060 DUAL 6GB?
Currently using Asus Gtx 760 directcu II OC (5 years old)

i mostly playing Formula 1 2018 with medium setting before my old gpu dead.
my budget is enough for rtx 2060, you thk my 5 years old pc can compatible to it?
or should i just go for budget 1660 because there is a sale now.

i have the gtx 1660ti asus dual and i dont recommend it at all. its noisy and hot and it easily gets to 80C with 70 percent fan speed. and it feels like u are sitting next to a jet engine.

However the chipset itself is great. it runs any AAA titles at 1080p above 60FPS but asus really messed up with entry level gpus cooler design.

The 2060 is a nice card, but it's not powerful enough for 4K; you can definitely play on 1440p though.
So, let's say you do get a 2060, and then later the 4K monitor... then you'd need another gpu just for that.

The psu isn't exactly the best either. It's not even certified 80 plus(debatable, but still...)

The cpu's fine as long as it's not maxing out.

It sounds like you have a cooling problem

i have tested the gpu with both side panels off in front of a AC. the temps were lower like 5C with 2800RPM fans which are very noisy. but its not realistic bcz nobody puts their case like that.
overall if you dont believe me just look at card itself, they used very small heatsink for VRMs MEMORY modules and the core itself probably with the worst possible thermal pad and pastes.

I went and did a search for reviews... and did see a few mentions of temps.
This is the crap people on small budgets are tossed... just to get them to buy their high end models - not like there aren't any good budget options, but Asus probably doesn't have any.

There was a recent review on Hardware Unboxed of the Asus TUF Gaming RX 5700XT - terrible cooler for a budget option.

I suggest you go for a a RTX 2060, its a great card. But you shouldn't get a 4K monitor, the 2060 isn't the best for 4K, I suggest maybe a nice 1440p Panel 120 or 144hz to get a buttery smooth experience.

as has been stated the 2060 and 4k are not good companions.
the PSU had a 3 year warranty and I assume it came with the 4440, meaning it is well out of warranty.
any of the cards would bring drastic improvement over what you have now, but when you upgrade to 4k that card will lose its shine quickly.

for your consideration
you could get a cheaper card now that is still a vast improvement over what you have and when the 4k season arrives your initial purchase sting is lowered, 4k will mean a new card, plan for it that way.

buy an intermediate upgrade, not the final destination. a used or refurbished card and bank the rest for 4k season.

please dont get 4k. even a 2060 super is not enough for that. go for high refresh rate 1080p or 1440p. if you are going 1080p get the 1660(or ti) your cpu will be to slow for anything beyond that(it will likely bottleneck even that on some games) if you go for 1440p get the 2060(super?) also get a decent psu no matter what you do. here is the toms guide to it https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...ussion-and-recommended-models-thread.3212332/ 600w is probably enough unless you plan to oc
