Hello everyone first of all here's the system I'm using right now

Gigabyte GA-970A DS3P

AMD FX-6350 Black Edition

Corsair Vengeance 2x4 8GB 1600 Mhz

Sapphire R7 240

And I'm thinking of buying one of these GPUs: R9 280 Dual-X, R9 285X Dual-X, HD 7950 Boost

Also my PSU is 500 watt is it enough for any of these GPUs?

Thanks.

:/ ok thank you, what about GPUs, which one is the best for me to buy?

With that "power supply" I wouldn't go past a gtx 750 ti, a version without the need for an additional pcie power cable.

It really is a budget unit, please upgrade it first before getting a serious gpu.

no, your psu isnt good for a good gpu unless u want to fry your system, get a Thermaltake TR2 600W Power supply - 600 Watt PSu then get a gtx 960 2gb it is very cheap and give excellent performance your total for both of this would be around 250$, you will not regret that decision it will run games very well

i have one and it works fine with my system but its a new one i got it a while ago and have encountered no problems just get any kind of good 600 watt pus PSU so ur system doesnt crap out and gtx 960, dont go with and amd GPU nvidia has better price/performance ratio

Ahahaha good one assassin.....oh wait, I think he was being serious....

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA. *wipes away a tear* oh god, that's even funnier. "NVIDIA price performance brand"

Op: The 285 will work with your current psu. You should however look into psu reviews and use them to choose a new psu. (breakdown reviews not reviews on shopping sites)
