Hey guys -

Recently I was thinking about upgrading my GPU and had few questions in mind. Here's my spec before I jump into questions:

Sapphrie R9 390 GPU, i7-4790K CPU (beQuiet dark rock 3 cooler), 16 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400 Memory (all at stock speed), EVGA 750W G2 PSU, and BenQ xl2730z monitor that supports 144hz.

I was thinking of upgrading my GPU to either 1070 ti, or Vega 56. Here's performance increase according the User Benchmark:

1070 Ti - 76% increase (looks like I might be able to get this around $500)
Vega 56 - 64% increase (harder to get these, around $600)

My main concern is that, I'm expected to obtain 1070 ti more easily (directly from Nvidia) with better price. But given I have Freesync supportive monitor, will I be losing a lot by changing to Nvidia product? Also, I wanted to change to Nvidia because it looks like overall, compared to AMD, a lot of games support Nvidia products... Such as PUBG. I see less crashes with Nvidia product.

To summarize, my question is:
Should I upgrade my GPU to Nvidia product even though I have Freesync monitor? I think Nvidia cards are better at game plays and are easier to obtain ATM.

Since the cards your planning on buying will be able to handle the high framerates I would say Yes to a Freesync card UNLESS you plan on getting a new monitor soon that would use Gsync instead. The bonus to how it looks/feels while playing games is easy to see.
