Which gpu should I choose

Hey bros my specs are
I5 4690k,8gb ram,h97 pro gamer mobo.
I wish to play any(every) game with 1080p(even somewhat low).Which gpu should I choose
Gtx 960/ [gtx 970(out of my bidget)]
Is 970 necessary or 960 will do my work or two gtx 750 in sli. I could get i7 4790k through my one relative in few days please help

Well the 970 is much faster than 960, which would be better than 750ti in SLI (sli of lower end cards is usually pointless).

I would go 960 and don't bother with the i7 (unless its free) as it wont help you in gaming with that GPU

The gtx 970 is by far faster then the 750 SLI and GTX 960, however, the GTX 960 will be able to handle all games out there on atleast medium settings at 1080p. If I were you, I would get a 960 right now and you can upgrade later on for a high performance card like a 980ti or a new Pascal or Polaris card. As for the processor, don't upgrade to the 4790k right now because it won't really give you any benefit in gaming.

If you are okay with medium settings, the GTX 960 will handle almost any game at 1080p with 30-60 fps. The only game that might give you issues is ARK: Survival Evolved, because it is very un-optimized (it is early access). It can handle games like Fallout 4 and GTA V on high with around 45 fps. Overall, the 960 is a great card and you shouldn't have an issue running games with it.

I was conviced in forums that an i7 isnt beneficial with gpu's like the 960 but...

Gta v on tweaked ultra 100% cpu usage 96% gpu...
