Which GPU should I get ?

Okay so I’m looking to buy a new GPU , I’m currently running an GTX 970 , Wanting a better GPU to game An stream , I’ve thought of getting either a GTX 1070 or RX Vega 56 I’ll be mainly gaming on 1080p , I also have Freesync Monitor if that means anything. Also if anyone has a better recommendation other than the GPU ive mentioned I’d like to hear about it !

Memory- 240GB SSD + 3TB HHD

GPU- GTX 970 4Gb (Founders Edition)
Case-NZXT s340 (white)
PSU- 850W Corsair Power Supply

Also is my current setup good for streaming ?

Your 970 should be good at 1080p. As above wait for 1070ti and see if prices change on other cards

What monitor do you have? If its 120 hz or above with freesync I'd be inclined to get an AMD based GPU but that's just because I hate screen tearing and stutter.

I have a MSI curved monitor that is 1ms 144hz

As you have Freesync, then have a look at the cost of a Vega 56/64 card.

A 1080 for 1080p gaming ? Wouldn’t it cause a bottleneck ?

Theres always a bottleneck. But if you are pushing very high fps to match the 144hz refresh rate of your monitor then in some games the bottleneck might shift to the cpu, but thats fine.

Worth overclocking your CPU if you end up really pushing for high FPS.

there will be no bottlenecks with 6700k and 1080.. it will work flawless together
