I’m thinking of pairing it with the RTX 2070 super, but I feel like it might be better to pair it with a beefier card like the 2080 super so I can utilize my CPU more. I’m most likely not gonna upgrade again for another 5-10 years. What do you guys think?

Solution
1440p with a refresh rate of 165hz. I might use ray tracing if it becomes more relevant in the future
At 1440p cpu becomes the bottleneck anyway even going from 3600 to 3700x you will notice almost zero difference probably in gaming. If you plan to keep your card for this long time then take the best card you can with your budget.

Either get the RTX 2080, or the RTX 2080 Ti model, if you can afford these GPUs. The TI variant is going to be slightly more future-proof as well.

Are you referring to the regular 2080 or 2080 super? I can definitely afford the regular 2080, but I’ve heard that the 2070 super has very similar performance to the 2080 and is generally the better GPU to purchase. Am I wrong about that?
