Which GPU to buy

I am looking to upgrade my gpu. My budget is 10000-15000 rupees.
My PC specs are:
i7 950 3.06 GHz
Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
4 GB RAM

Which gpu should i buy to play games like Watch Dogs,GTA 5 when it releases,AC Unity and games for the next 2-3 yrs. I have no problem to run games at medium quality

The card can run many games on high settings with decent FPS. You should get good FPS on upcoming titles on medium settings.

Might not be able to run everything well but the AMD Radeon 270x might be in your price range. If you are looking for something cheaper then maybe the GTX 750Ti.

A fair bit of gap I can say. GTX 750 Ti< R9 265< R9 270< R9 270X. 270X can run games on high settings whereas 750 Ti might not be able to do so, medium should be more convineant. Look here, good stuff:

There is a fair gap between the two, but the R9 270X seems to be just out of your price range. If I were you, I would spend that little bit more, but like Meteors said, there are plenty others in between.

How long would be the lifeline of this gpu? If i buy the gtx 760 or r9 280 what would be the lifeline of those cards?

There's no defined lifeline. If you can suffice with low settings and 35 FPS, they'd run the then latest titles for 3-4 years atleast, but if you prefer nothing less than high-medium and 40+ FPS, then it'd be more likely around 2 years for latest titles.
